INTRO
Following the completion of Netflix's Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, Sunrise and Netflix worked on a series of concept designs to produce the continuing Gundam titles. A series of concept illustrations of film scenes rich in multiple scenarios support the inspiration around the R-rated vibe.
DESIGN RATIONALE
The aesthetic of this ambitious and imaginative IP film and TV concept series references a long list of great sci-fi, disaster, and political thrillers, from War of the Worlds to 2012, while retaining the design characteristics of the Gundam U.C. series. It's an ambitious series; my work ranges from individual storylines to grand epic narratives.
